The Eye Of Minds Rivew

Oh wow! What a book! This book made my brain explode!!
It's about a boy named Michael who lives in the future where they have "full-emersion" video games.
This means, he lays in a "coffin" and goes to sleep, where he then in his minds gets to explore a video game world with other people. SO COOL! When can this be invented????
When the book starts Michael has been given an in-game task to prevent a girl from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. It won't kill her, just her avatar, and she will awaken in her coffin. But if Michael prevents it from happening, without breaking character and acknowledging they are in a game, he gets a ton of experience points.
As Michael tries to coax the girl of the ledge, she spouts something off about someone who wont let her leave the game and how she needs to get away from him. Annoyed, Michael finally tell her it's just a game, and he really needs the experience points, and begs her to come with him. Realizing that if she dies in game, she wont truly die, the girl proceeds to rip open the flesh over her temple and reach her fingers in her head trying to remove her 'core'. We are then explained that in doing this, she will remove the programing that tells her brain that she is only experiencing a game, not real life. Without her core, she would become brain dead if she died.
Michael becomes freaked out, and again begs her to stop, but he fails. She jumps off the bridge and he follows her. He then awakes in his coffin, knowing she is truly dead.
After these events, he is contacted by the government, they want him to catch this hacker.

This book was so awesome!!! It was fast paced, and had a HUGE twist at the end!! OH, MAN!
If you enjoy sci-fi this is the book for you!!!!
